Mr. Nirmit Lotia is an investor, founder and philanthropist whose work reflects a visionary commitment to purposeful investment and long term value creation. He began his career at the age of sixteen in the field of finance and investments, gaining early exposure to markets and developing a foundation that provided a distinctive competitive edge early on.

Engaged across institutional finance, structured capital, private investments and the holdings business, his work reflects a long-term vision that bridges opportunity with purpose. Beyond his exposure to diverse asset classes, he remains actively involved in supporting entrepreneurs and investing in ventures that drive meaningful progress and innovation.

Over the years, he has built trusted relationships with leaders, founders and members of the global bureaucracy, forming a network that continues to shape his worldview and approach to leadership.

Alongside the fund & investments business, he established the Lotia Foundation, a philanthropic initiative focused on advancing education, opportunity and climate-conscious development through strategic and sustainable engagement complemented by his association with Yale and his support for other leading academic institutions. He also remains deeply committed to his association with the Hope for Life Foundation and the Adhyashakti Charitable Trust, continuing his family’s legacy of long-standing dedication to animal welfare, hunger relief and the upliftment of communities through establishing healthcare initiatives and medical centers.

His presence extends across multiple regions worldwide, where he continues to build initiatives that connect global opportunity with local impact. Despite his global footprint, he remains extremely bullish on India’s future and the strength of its entrepreneurial spirit.

Mr. Lotia holds two master’s degrees. He received a Master’s in Finance from Babson College. He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Asset Management at Yale University.
